Development Manager’s Update - February 2022

Welcome to the February 2022 development update!

SIGV Releases 1, 2, 3 & 4

The Releases 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the project continues to see a flurry of activity, with home construction progressing and new home design applications streaming in for approval.  The new sales and info centre has seen some more progress as the slab was poured this month.  We expect the Council will grant the construction certificate for the display village carpark in the next few months, and we will commence construction shortly after that.

Our consultants are hard at work developing a detailed design for the Release 5 subdivision works certificate application. At this stage, we expect to lodge the application next month and commence construction at the start of the next financial year, if not sooner.

SIGV Masterplan 

More design and reporting work is occurring on the overall SIGV masterplan.  Deliverables in progress include a strategic bushfire assessment report, heritage assessment, water cycle management plan and biodiversity certification assessment.  We have the best team working on these items with input from local and state government.  Our intention is to lodge the planning proposal in a couple of months.
